So, with the latest Raspbian release running nicely, my next task will be to try out the new Manjaro-ARM release. py file manually with the command line within the virtual env it executes normally but I would like to be able to execute it from Geany. geany IDE Wed 8:57 am Hey, I'm pretty new at all this raspberry stuff. The release notes include the package list. In addition to the usual apt-get update/ apt-get dist-upgrade you have to install a number of new packages. Unfortunately I can't run it with the Terminal as super user, even after using chmod +x. I would like to use Geany to run due to convenience. Updating an existing Raspbian installation, rather than installing from scratch, is not quite as easy this time as it has been for most previous releases, because there are a number of new packages in this release. The compile command is g++ -c 'f' and the build command being g++ -o 'e' 'f'. ![]()
